STRIKE: Federal Government to meet ASUU, others tomorrow.
The Federal Government is set to meet with the representatives of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) tomorrow, 22nd February
The meeting which would be held at the instance of the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige would also have in attendance: the Chief of Staff to the President, Minister of Education and representatives of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council.
The meeting is coming in a bit to find solution to the strike action declared by ASUU last week.
ASUU has been at loggerhead with the Federal Government over failure of the latter to honour agreements signed with the union bothering on university revitalization, deployment of UTAS, report of Visitation Panels among others.
